Sunless Tanners That Don’t Clog Pores

If you’re prone to clogged pores and breakouts there are two options concerning sunless tanners. 1. Use a quality face tanner. 2. Use an all body sunless tanner but make sure to pay close attention at its ingredients.

Many of us with sensitive skin are aware of the fact that some sunless tanners pool or seep into our pores. The residue clogging the pores increases the chance on irritation and it’s needless to say this is not what we want!

So it’s essential to avoid products that are rich in fatty ingredients. Some people with oily skin opt for alcohol-based tanners but personally I dislike these because of the prominent, commonly, unpleasant scent.

There are also sunless tanners containing water- and plant-based ingredients that have a natural, fresh scent, and do not contain alcohol. Read more about these natural sunless tannersnatural that don’t clog pores.

Does Vitamin E Fade Scars?

Several popular uses of vitamin E to fade scars are believed to work by a wide range of people. These uses vary from using a vitamin E cream, vitamin E oil, and rubbing the contents of vitamin E capsules on the scar tissue.

The amount of vitamin E for scars reviews is abundant. Whether you are taking a look at Yahoo Answers or one of the many message boards, many people are convinced vitamin E fades scars.

The facts however show the opposite. There are several studies done on this subject. All of them show largely the same outcome. According to a clinical trial titled: “The Effects of Topical Vitamin E on the Cosmetic Appearance of Scars”

The appearance of the scars treated with vitamin E did not improve. In fact, many looked worse. Almost a third of the patients actually developed an allergic reaction called contact dermatitis (red rash) in response to vitamin E.”

The skin irritation caused by this treatment might even worsen scar appearance.

This is why the topical use of vitamin E on scar tissue is disencouraged by many dermatologists. There are some, proven effective, alternatives though. Read more about vitamin c and scars and working alternatives on this Squidoo lens: Does Vitamin E Help Scars?

There’s more evidence, clinical evidence, by far for honey in wound treatment than for any of the pharmaceutical products. However, it won’t work once an infection gets in the blood. It’s not a miracle.
